Old Friends - New Bedmates?
Two nights ago I received an email from a friend. A male friend. Jason I have literally known my whole life, we grew up a block apart and went to the same school from Kindergarten on. Several months ago we ended up finding each other on MySpace. At that time he was going to be in my area to visit another former classmate whom he is still good friends with. Nothing sounded more fun than meeting up with these two for drinks and a walk down memory lane. Which I did and it was a great time. Jason at the time had flirted a bit and I flirted back (before Jeff and I had decided we would get back together). At the time Jeff and I were not even speaking and although still in love with him was facing knowing I needed to move on. So Jason and I called and talked etc. We talked about relationships, kids, etc. You know the stuff people talk about when they are exploring dating someone.
Well a few weeks after Jason and I started talking just one day nothing from him. No return phone call, no email, nothing. I didn't chase the man as honestly I wasn't that interested. However, I did question why the drop in communication (I easily found out he began to date someone) which was and is COMPLETELY fine with me. I didn't want to marry the man. Within a few days of that Jeff had emailed me and look here we are.
Now that you know the history.........two nights ago I get an email from Jason. "Hi Sexy" "How are you?" "I had a sex dream about you last night....and you were awesome". That was it, that was the email. WTF? I laugh at it and email back with "I'm fine. How are you? Interesting dream". Which sparked a series of emails from him. He was going to be in my area wanted to know about having drinks, etc. etc. I politely turn him down for drinks. It didn't feel right.
It isn't like Jeff would care, in fact he would be okay with it. It was me. I knew Jason wanted more than drinks. He wanted a "booty call" and that isn't me. He was/is still dating the girl (I call her girl because she is 21 lol). In one email he said he thought he dreamed of me because he isn't satisfied easily and that someone his age could please him more. Again...WTF? Teach her how to please you then.
I guess in the end I am just sad that I like Jason as a good friend and I would have loved to gone out and had drinks with him. But sadly I guess that proves that men and women can not be just friends.

BTF - Beauty Tip Friday ~ Volume 1
Welcome to the first installment of BTF - BEAUTY TIP FRIDAY
Each Friday I'll create an entry based upon my industry. To begin this correctly instead of jumping in and talking about the great products everyone should try I want to first begin by talking about the needs of your hair.
The first question everyone typically asks me is "Is there really a difference between the $2 Suave shampoo and the more expensive brand I buy from my stylist.?" Answer: Yup!!
Not only are the product you purchase from your stylists geared toward having the most healthy hair possible, but you are purchasing them from a professional who can best recommend the correct product for your type of hair. When you have those "bad hair days" they are not because you have stubborn hair, but because you are using the wrong product for your hair type.
Do you know your hair type? Do you know how to tell your hair type? Your hair type will dictate the needs of your shampoo, conditioner, styling products & finishing products. That being said lets talk about just that. Hair type: thin, fine, thick, coarse, curly, straight, ethnic. Sounds simple right? Well it is, but do you realize that you can have thick hair, but a fine strand. You may as well have thin hair with a coarse strand. Follow these rules - FIRST ask your stylist what kind of hair you have. However, lets say that you have never asked your stylist what type of hair you have. Follow these guidelines (and these are guidelines only) Thin = amount of hair on your head, Fine = how thin the strand is (baby fine), Thick = amount of hair you have on your head, Coarse = thickness of strand, Curly, Straight and Ethnic should explain themselves.
Each week I will highlight a new product from the product lines I handle. I will describe the background of product as well as what hair it is best for.
Send me your questions - I'll post an answer!

New Job Update
Last night after studying for three hours decided I deserved a bottle of wine! So at least I got out and did a little exploring to find a place to buy some wine.
Maybe tonight I'll take a break and really write a decent blog. Sorry to everyone that I have not posted since moving my blog here, but with training it has been a bit overwhelming. I promise to get around to everyone soon.
